Whitepages is probably the most well known and most used website to search for people. It has a smooth interface and allows you to look up names, phone numbers and addresses. You wont be able to find out detailed information but you will be able to find out what kind of crime the person may have committed. The search function itself is intuitive, offering you text boxes for name, address, state, zip. Worth taking a look at if you have suspicions about someones past.
